We want to make our customers and the public aware of an ongoing issue involving the misuse of the FixAsphalt name by unrelated individuals operating in multiple states, including New York, Georgia, and Florida.
These individuals are not affiliated with FixAsphalt, yet in certain situations, when disputes arise or jobs are left incomplete, our company name has been incorrectly given as the contractor responsible.
This has caused understandable confusion — and we are taking steps to correct the record.
Beginning in 2023, FixAsphalt began receiving phone calls, text messages, and emails from individuals raising concerns about work they believed had been performed by a company using the name “Fix Asphalt.”
In multiple instances, it became apparent that these individuals had contracted with a different, unaffiliated party using a similar name. After those parties became unresponsive, customers searched online for assistance and, due to FixAsphalt’s established digital presence, contacted FixAsphalt, believing it was responsible for the work.
The concerns communicated to us generally related to:
FixAsphalt did not perform the work described, did not receive payment for those projects, and was not a party to the underlying contracts or transactions.
While we understand the frustration experienced by individuals in these situations, FixAsphalt can only address matters related to projects actually performed by our company. This notice is provided to help clarify the distinction and reduce ongoing consumer confusion.
